its doing my bloody head in getting violations ofr being an adult and answering kids questions!
how hard will it be to add a new section called ADULT ONLY and let the grown ups answer each other???

I answer kids by mistake i should say...not like i target them..lol...ok ...sometimes...maybe...for fun...

This 45 year old does! Let's get a petition! But unfortunately I bet it will never happen and if it does happen- how would we define, "Adult"? I wouldn't want it to become like a cheesy AOL chat room.

That's been posted several 1000 times on the Y!A suggestion board.
The answer from the Y!A team is ALWAYS the same: There is NO WAY the Y!A team can monitor and determine that those of a younger age group will not make use of it. How could it be determined what age a user is? Sign a waiver? Would that somehow prevent youngsters in there? I think NOT.
That, as much as we might wish otherwise, is FACTUAL, and thus makes the suggestion unworkable, at LEAST from the view-point of the Y!A team.

It would be nice to have an adult section for serious adult questions, the problem is that it would just be full of adolescents talking smut :-/

yes...ican see the need...but how in the hell can you keepthe kids from using it....thats the question...its something ive thought about...also if i wanted to help some kid thats in trouble with advice..would i be able to go to the kids side to help them or would we be locked out from each other its a hard one...but asi have said before ime just a dim candle you brighter lights may come up with something......seamanab

I agree with you! But I have answered some legitimate questions from kids, who need serious answers.

They are so annoying on the parenting board. Under parenting adolesence and grade schooler (which should be about being a parent (hence the title "PARENTING"
These stupid questions "does he like me?" I like this boy in class" "what should I wear to school".
