don't take a sleeping pill!!!!! It makes it a lot harder to get up in the morning. I had the same problem. I listen to music sometimes, but just about every night I read before bed. It works just about everytime. But if you really can't sleep, you need to get up and do something. I'll do crunches, pushups, lunges, or just something to get out all my energy. You don't even need to work out, you just need an activity to do for 10 minutes, like drawing, watching t.v. or writing. GOOD LUCK! I know this is stressful, I'm still working on it!

Go to bed at 9. Take a warm shower before you go to bed and drink a cup of warm milk. Dont have the tv on which that would be distraction.

I always read a good book for an hour or so, and once the light is out, in 15 minutes I will be sound asleep!

Run to your local pharmacy and get some over the counter sleeping pills they are non adictive and will kick in about 2 hours depending on amount of MG's you take

Try counting down from ten to one, taking deep slow breaths at the same time. Keep repeating this over & over. It's the same principe as counting sheep and was recommended to my by a hypnotherapist.

take a hot bath before you go to bed.. it will give signals to your brain to make your body feel more tired.
