out there in the country it has to be cheeper then the city right does anyone know how much a farm house would coast to buy

That depends on how far out of the city you are, what part of the country, how much land you want with it, how big the house is, what shape it's in, etc. It might be $75,000, it might be $7.5 million.

For a more accurate figure, look in your local newspaper, or call a realtor.

In my area you can find land thats wooded for less than a grand an acre (unless it could be logged), but a working farm can cost a million or more.. A farm is a business just like a grocery store or a gas station. There is allot more to pricing a farm than just the amount of land, buildings and equipment.

You could have two farms next to each other same amount of land, same equipment, save size house etc, the farm that is productive will cost more, the one that doesn't produce won't bring nearly the same price. The home on the property will make less of a difference than the productivity of the farm.

You don't think political boundaries as in country, state, city, etc. might somehow be relevant to this sort of transaction?
