lower-income and less educated—giving Democrats a bigger, 2-to-1 margin'
This is a more scary thought, that the uneducated are the ones who may decide the next election.
I wonder is this also why we currently have a congress who has done nothing other than attempt to embarrass the white house?

Of the 30% of working Americans employed by the government fully one third of them are low wage civil service workers with limited benefits built in . The Janitors parks workers and others make up 1/3 of those employed and as such tend to feel as if they are not getting what they deserve . This leaves 23% of the population who loves uncle sam . They would do anything the government asked or wanted of them because they are scared out of their rabid *** minds of freedom and being responsible for themselves . They need the government and to get the full benefit they need the government to grow like any business would so that promotions and new positions would be created for those already experienced in the Job .
Most people work low wage jobs in this country and barely scrape by while government workers turn in their twenty and some even do another .
This allows them a steady income after government service and medical coverage .
This allows them to gamble and take risks and try to start businesses of their own .
SO you see for Almost 1/3 of this nation the government can do no wrong and no matter what they have learned to get along you have to go along .
This is why this nation has gotten so far off track .
Subliminal messages must be played all day long over the speaker system that every government and government contractors offices always have .

Because it is obvious that our politicians very seldom pay attention to what we want. We elect them, then they do what THEY want. And guess what? If we vote them out the next group will do it too. I have no doubt they know more about what is happening behind the scenes than we do and can't or won't let us in on it but I sure wish hey would. For instance, why won't any of them stand up and say " we cannot build the fence between us and Mexico and here is the reason " I would find that very refreshing . I am sure I wouldn't like the answer but we need the honesty.

not sure; other than that if you tell a lie loud enough and long enough, the people will begin to believe it [thanks to Dr. Josef Goebbels for pointing this out in about 1938].
-- i do know that 83% of Americans think that pulling out of Iraq no matter what the consequences would be the wrong thing to do.
Which is probably why the Democrats are caving in on the issue to President Bush. They've read the polls, too.

I tuned to Fox News this morning, something I seldom do, and they were saying that 77% of the people they polled were happy with the direction this country was going in. They must have conducted the poll on their own website LOL.

Because the news media feeds them anti-American crap all day, that's why when ask how they are doing personally, the result is the vast majority are doing well, and see themselves doing better in the future. I feel this is a much better indicator of the direction of the Country.

Because it doesn't take a psychic to know that the country is in the pitts now.
Meanwhile, the rest of the nation are still stubborn as a mule and refuses to acknowledge that they made a HUGE mistake voting Bush into the White House twice.
Unlike a lot of things, this one, you can't blame it on the terrorists.
