Before rushing to judgment should we consider the following:
1. If we just wait until the election he will be done with him anyway and then the entire Republican organization will be on trial. A goodly number of Representatives, Senators and Governors will also be looking for new jobs as a result of the debacle. . .
2. If we wait until let’s say the month before the election, then every republican candidate will be forced in the course of the reelection debate to either endorse Bush or the Impeachment, which will tie them not only to Bush’s policies and programs, but to his crimes. It should prove an interesting choice for them. Knowing just how smart Bill Clinton is, I would have to believe that he has already figured that out and is just sitting and smiling, like the Cheshire cat for the right moment to pounce.

Bush will not get impeached because Congress is impotent. There aren't enough votes or they would be beating the drum.
Let this be a lesson to all about the "fairness" of our government. They can impeach Bill Clinton for a ******** but can't get the votes to impeach two traitors and their band of criminals. A Black eye in history for sure.

It's an outrage!

It's difficult to impeach a President that is seated; unless there is support for an impeachment from persons within the same party--it appears within this generation's Republicans that the will or nature of inquiry is stagnant, and/or non-existant.

The present right; is basically docile--so, no.

There is nothing to be gained by impeaching Bush. There is enough left of his rubber stamp congress to ensure an acquittal in the Senate.
So impeachment would be purely a partisan politically motivated stunt. That was obviously reason enough for Gingrich to go after Clinton but I believe the Dems are above that.
We have serious issues in this country. Bush has decided he will not contribute to solving them so we need to look to 2009 and keep doing what we can in the interim.

Have to question Bush right now. He has said Pakistan President Musharraf did not overstep bounds when he suspended Pakistan's Constitution, enacted Martial Law, abolished Pakistan's Supreme Court, and imprisoned reporters, lawyers, and anyone who disagreed with him.

Musharraf is also allowing AlQueda to train in his country.

How does President punish Pakistan for allowing terrorist to train there? By giving Musharraf Billions of dollars.

Impeachment is a long, tedious, expensive process. Besides, Bush hasn't knowingly had an adulterous affair with another consenting adult.
Better that he and Cheney be tried in an international court of law for high crimes against humanity and let the whole world judge these two mass murderers, just as Saddam Hussein was 'judged'......and like Stalin, Hitler and Amin should have been judged.

Yes... Democrats should attempt to impeach Bush for doing nothing wrong and really embarrass themselves before the next election

I'd rather keep Bush as President than stick Dick Cheney as the top dawg.

many are wondering what Bush would be impeached for... um... the war in iraq has been deemed illegal by the UN and the international community... simple as... he broke the rules set to protect us all

I am for impeaching Mr Bush-he has done more wrong, killed more, and destroyed more than BILL CLINTON by far.

What has he done that he can be impeached for? Just because you don't like the man doesn't mean he should be put on trial. That's the trouble with this country people have become so accustomed to suing someone else over every little thing that now it's "lets impeach the President because he isn't doing what I want him to do." It would be like me suing you because I didn't like the way you drive your car.
