This instrument, together with the appropriate table, will give you relative humidity.
You read the dry bulb temp and the wet bulb temp and get the difference between them. You find the dry temp on the scale on the LHS of the table and the difference across the top. Join these two points you get the relative humidity.

With the help of the wet and dry bulb thermometers,you can get wet bulb temperature and dry bulb temperature(air temperature).These two values can be used to find out the dew point temperature and the relative humidity.
