I'm not gona give you that to young BS but i am gona tell you that that probably does not mean all that much something i learned from Greek there are 4 words that translate to love all meaning something different tho there Agápe - what you are hoping for Éros - like agape but in agape there is a scene of XXX action Philia - what i think that this is, this is friendship love and lastly Storge - how a parent loves there child

This is true if there was a relationship and the two are now separated or divorced.

Nope. Prime example is when we were told "love thine enemy as thyself". I have an ex-girlfriend I will openly say i still love (more like a friend or sister now) that will never truly love me in return. I doubt she ever did, but hey, we live and learn.

Loving someone, is not the same as being in love with them.
You can be in love with a person but they may only love you back They also can love you but not necessary like you.
I Love, I Like, I have been In love.
It is all different but can be three feelings for one.

and it can get you nuts if you say i love you and dont get one back... i know i did.
so be careful who you confess your "luv" to.
