that some stores are opening at 4am tomorrow for shopping? I like to shop as much as anyone and I understand that people want to get a head start on holiday shopping and get good bargains and all, but isn't 4am a crazy time to open stores?? I even saw an advertisement for a store opening at midnight tonight!

I am with you on this one.. Yes, that is way to early to ask store associates to roll out of bed at 02:00 to be at work at 03:00 to prepare for the nuts who will curse and abuse them at 04:00.
It is pure greed for retailers to do this.

Some stores open at 4am, but there are apparently tickets given out earlier for those store so people don't cut in line. It's absurd. I practice Buy Nothing Day, greatly supported by AdBusters.org I don't think it's worth the headache, hassle, and traffic to save a few bucks. And imagine being the person that has to be up at 3 am to get the store ready. Screw that. Fight the man!!! ;-)

I really see nothing wrong in going shopping at 4 am. Some people like to get an early start on their Christmas shopping. I have known different people who start shopping on Thanksgiving day. I sometimes start the week after Thanksgiving. I like going at nights when most people are gone and then I don't have to stand in line and wait forever.

Yea I think the whole thing is pretty ridiculous. I think it's pretty bad how they make people get up really early or just not go to sleep just to be the first one at a store to get a good price. It sucks. Maybe I'm just jealous cus I don't have money to go shopping tomorrow lol

I agree 100%. Plus I never heard of Black Friday before nor this 4am nonsense. You would need to get up at 3am to get ready. Good luck after a long Turkey Day.

I don't. It goes with entrepreneurship. These people will do everything to make money. But it is not illegal. So, it's OK. Those who can make it as early as after midnight, good for them. Whatever time is ideal for you, do it, but you will miss the good deal if you will be too late.

Best Buy is opening at 5 a.m. but their ad says "A line will form beginning at 3:00 a.m."... at which point they will begin handing out tickets for doorbusters. Then, after waiting for two hours, you can go in and use your doorbusters tickets to buy the crappy merchandise they're selling. :D

The retailers have ruined Christmas. Christmas crap was in stores Labor Day ! They are all trying to beat each other for sales. It's truly disgusting.
