up working cos she needs it to keep he sane and to show the kids if you want good stuff in life then you have to work for it

I don't blame you for not wanting her to work as a bar maid, and that type of job does not really set a good example for her kids either. Sadly, that's the kind of work she LIKES or she would be doing something else. If you were married to her you would have a say in this, but I think this should show you that you two are not compatible for one another.... not because of the way you feel about her working there, but because you guys obviously have two different outlooks about goals/plans for the future. This situation could be a blessing in disguise for you. Good luck.

You might ask her if she would like to try something else. But you cant stop her from working where she wants to. At the end of the day it is just a job. Working as a bar maid is a back breaking job. Your back hurts and your feet feel like thay are going to fall off. It is not a easy job. I would leave her alone for now and she might quit on her own.

i don't think you can get her to stop working there. first of all the pay is pretty good with tips. and it's in a club like setting, this night job can be to her a night life style. meaning it's too addicting. all the action, everyone knows each other. it's too thrilling. so, i guess your going to have to stick it out while she stays at this job. here's the thing ultimatums do not work. if you try it I'm sure it will make her more stead fast in keeping that job then anything,

Well, you can't stop her... If you asked and she said no... The end...
You can either be unhappy and live with it or move on......
My suggestion would be to find someone New...
If your not happy with it now, your not going to change your mind or get use to it.... Life is to short to live that way.....and too many women in the sea.........

tell her that at 11.5 stone she shouldnt be putting it all on show for all the local builders to jeer at.
no one wants to see all that while they are trying to force beer down their necks .
they want to puke because of the volume of beer in their guts not because of the volume of the barmaid...pmsl
