I had a wonderful day, thank you. My two sons are far away across the country and we couldn't be together this Thanksgiving. But a friend invited me to her home. She and her husband were very warm hosts and the atmosphere was lovely. Their home is a log cabin on a lake. As we sat to talk before dinner, an Eagle flew high above the fog, surrounding the lake. It was quite magnificent. When I returned home I spoke with both of my sons, my best friend, and received a message on my machine from one of my Yahoo friends who I now correspond with regularly. It was a very pleasant Thanksgiving Day...

Yes, it was a lovely day-in the 70's. We went with family out to eat. We came back and looked at some old family photos and videos and had a great time reminiscing. The kids played with our dog and the fellows passed a football around. I just finished a piece of homemade pumpkin pie and thought I'd relax a bit and check in here. I hope you are having a good day too.

I feel awful for not wishing all the lovely Americans Happy Thanksgiving. I was so busy, I forgot. I do hope you enjoyed your day with friends, and family.

We had a lovely day, thank you. And I hope you did too.
It was wonderful to see our dear in-laws and our daughter. We went out to eat at a lovely buffet, then took a long walk
around a lake near our home. The dog went too. We all
rested and took naps.

Yes we did, thank you for asking. It was 6 hours ago so now I feel much better. Pants were a little tight for awhile there. Mother in law left about 2 for her nap. Now we are relaxing.

Thanks for asking. It was good (aside from the loud talker) I ate way too much. My boy served himself then pulled his notebook out and began coloring pictures for everyone. When it was time to leave he started packing his plate out. Loudie said, "He's fine, let him take it." So we have to return the plate tomorrow. Loudie said, "Give me a kiss." to my boy and he said, "I don't kiss anymore." We'll see how long that one lasts. I'll be sure to remind him with his girlfriend years down the line.
