Are racial differences in IQ test scores due to: cultural bias or genetic differences?

Cultural bias and lack of exsposure to different things. There are things that are on IQ tests that a lot of children aren't exposed to. if you don't have access to a good libary and good educational system how are you going to learn about life out side of your little area??? There are millions of kids who have never seen an animal that was born out side of an urban area. They have never been to a zoo or farm so if they've seen any animals it might have been in a book if they have access to them. I know a lot of kids who don't have books out side of the ones that they use for school. their parents don't have money for the books and don't see a need for them, they are considered luxuries. I know kids that have never been a train ride away to see the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center because their parent don't see the need. If you haven't been exposed to things than how do you know about them??

Their are vast differences in cultural behaviors that affect how people interact with the world. Latin cultures value physical closeness and even casual physical contact, Asian culture considers it rude or antagonistic to look people in the eye, etc. If a culture does not value spatial relationships then the children will not grow up playing games that emphasize them. Instead they may grow up developing their musical ability or their ability to interact with animals. Those values do not relate well to conventional testing, but that does not invalidate their value for assessing knowledge and IQ. Don't be fooled, just because Western philosophy says that anything that cannot be measured, weighed, tested, poked, prodded and replicated in a laboratory is worthless, that doesn't mean it is. Edit - Gorgeous, am I to believe that you have been damaged by the Bible? Not even do you not seem to know how to spell any more, you've apparently lost all sense of the difference between reality and fantasy. Nothing can really be "proven" in the anonymous atmosphere of the internet. You have no idea if the people most offending you with their "buy-bull" have even read it, you have only their word for it. What damaged your IQ? Mantled - If you really believe cultural bias has been removed from tests, I have some oceanfront property I'd love to sell you.

Average Black person's IQ: 87
Average White person's IQ: 100
Average Asian person's IQ: 107

There is a difference, but does that mean that one race is less intelligent then another? No, it means that one race has a higher occurrence of logical thought processes then another. Remember: Einstein did not think very logically, yet was one of the most intelligent people of his time.

It cannot be racial since there exist but one race on the planet.

I assume you are vaguely aware of the program to trace the human genome.

It must be milieu, social circumstances, opportunity and economic condition.

The only race on earth is us...Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Surely you do not suggest that ethnic differences apply to the human mind's capacity to learn or process information.

"Her skin color is dark brown; she cannot be as smart as me".

"Opps! His eyes are slanted, I cannot be as smart as him"

This is old science, bad science.

Remember, in science so long as a position, postulation or concept passes all the tests it remains acceptable science. The first time it fails...we throw it out the nearest window.

ive never seen a study that showed differences. except one, but my high school teacher argued he was a racist. (the same teacher who said blacks will never be as good at hockey as whites for the same reason whites will never sprint as fast as blacks.) supposedly black people have a higher calf muscle insertion point? idk
