You've got me hooked on this now -won't miss it.
Bit like 'Brokeback Mountain meets Auf Wiedersehn Pet'
Pity the son had to suffer as well, wasn't it?

amazing sequence this time, because it grew to become into final twelve months, additionally enjoyed Cracker written via Jimmy McGovern. the line is approximately actual people who've universal lifestyles's, and there is mostly a good solid of properly universal actors, that's extremely all the way down to earth and dealing classification. i like different issues like gruesome Betty and desperate Housewives and CSI and all the modern American shows, yet you are able to't beat properly written British television.

It was predictable and quite boring. Why are gays always portrayed as weak and easy pickings for thugs?.
The mugger would have stood out a mile in a gay club, he wouldn't have got passed the bouncers.
How did the plods find his watch?!, now that was beyond the bounds of reality!.
Could do better....

It seemed to me that, instead of saying that he had gone with a mate to a so-called "gay" pub and was mugged, the central character, by trying to hide it, caused whatever sadness resulted in his life. The strange thing to me was the ending, first the wife packs her bags and leaves in a taxi. Then she comes back and walks in the house and all is sweetness and light. What was that all about?

Very sad story.....but probably more common than we think.
Agree a bit about the ending, but then she realised she still loved him, and him her, and you don't throw away a lifetime of marriage, kids etc for 1 mistake

I thought it wasn't as good as most of the stories, I honestly found it mad that kind of bigotry could go on in todays society, especially the gym, WTF was that about????
