I am not referring to america, i am referring to governments in general but the same principles apply in america. I hypothesized that conservatives would not know this, and be confused by the question. Now why are they confused?

In the USA, you described the far left and the far right... not the mediums of either.

This does not always apply globally... I think it is Germany where the left is what we consider right in the USA... some country over there has it opposite of our terminology... can't recall atm.

Btw, I saw you notes on China... China is still a communist country. They have just found a way to make it work. I have no clue why ppl think a communist country can't make money.. as soon as they start making a profit ppl say they are turning capitalist. They are making a profit because of their communist system providing a classless labor pool. The problem I have with this is that our, the USA, wealthy corporations are exploiting this factor of their structure.

Also, I will add that I am a far left liberal and consider myself a Marxist and also a Marxist Feminist.
Marxism:
* an attention to the material conditions of people's lives, and social relations among people
* a belief that people's consciousness of the conditions of their lives reflects these material conditions and relations
* an understanding of class in terms of differing relations of production, and as a particular position within such relations
* an understanding of material conditions and social relations as historically malleable
* a view of history according to which class struggle, the evolving conflict between classes with opposing interests, structures each historical period and drives historical change
* a sympathy for the working class or proletariat
* and a belief that the ultimate interests of workers best match those of humanity in general.

Marxist feminism is a sub-type of feminist theory which focuses on the dismantling of capitalism as a way to liberate women. Marxist feminism states that capitalism, which gives rise to economic inequality, dependence, political confusion and ultimately unhealthy social relations between men and women, is the root of women's oppression.

According to Marxist theory, in capitalist societies the individual is shaped by class relations; that is, people's capacities, needs and interests are seen to be determined by the mode of production that characterizes the society they inhabit. Marxist feminists see gender inequality as determined ultimately by the capitalist mode of production. Gender oppression is class oppression and women's subordination is seen as a form of class oppression which is maintained (like racism) because it serves the interests of capital and the ruling class. Marxist feminists have extended traditional Marxist analysis by looking at domestic labor as well as wage work in order to support their position.

The elite left use the term "racism" to shut down any discourse because it is politically incorrect to be considered a possible racist. I think this elite group basically thinks they are better suited to decide how the great unwashed public should live because in their view they are more educated and better informed. This may have been true in past centuries when the educated were usually priests, newspaper reporters and educators but I question if it still holds true today. Now the elite use political correctness and a laundry list of "experts" to argue their superiority. I remember the debate when Gore used audible sighs and yawns giving me the impression Gore was so far above his opponent, Gore could not believe he had to waste his time with this debate. Now I may agree President Bush Jr. was not a rocket scientist, but I found Gore rude. As to your question on Anti American, I believe the Far Right brings this label up more than the left to shut conversation.

I guess it matters on who the elite are! Some believe that the elite are liberals who want a monopoly over our rights. Some believe Bush is one of the elites and that he uses his government power to make oil. Who knows the truth. Who are the elites? Where do they live? Who do they control things? Who do they go through? When do they give orders and what kind? If the goods and services of this country are owned people citizens and not politicians what do the elites own? Is Bill Gates an elite because he has more wealth than everyone else? Where did you first hear about these elites? Why do the hide? When are they going to smash our civil liberties? Who do you think is smashing liberties, Government officials or businesses? How old are the elites? Why do you base many of your questions around the elites when we can't see them? How do they have a monopoly in a free market where true monopolies don't exist.(Unlike big government monopolies today! Do the elites want to do us harm? Do you believe there is only a certain amount of money in an economy at one time? Do you know what economic growth is? Do the elites want to limit economic growth? Why are you one of the ones who know about the elites? To me the true right(not todays neo-cons) want to seperate power the most by building competitive markets that have proven market efficiency. In a dream world without elites is their a world without poverty? Who cleans the toilets? Why does a guy who cleans toilets in our economy get taxed(alot, federal income 15%, state income tax 5%, sales tax 7%, property tax on the land he rents or owns 3-5% of income on average, corporate taxs that get passed to the consumer ~ the people buying the products ~) Do you know why there are shortages? Do the elites want to have more shortages reducing economic growth? Do the elites like making less money? Please answer 5 of my question with 4 of them pertaining to the elites. And remember, many REAL republicans like Ron Paul and I are for decentralizing power. The last thing we need is more government after what the government pushers have done to our land over the last 80 years. Thank goodness the market is so strong it can somewhat support it, FOR NOW!

what? "Left is equality or communism, with no rich or upper class". Sir, you need to study up. In Communism there are two classes the rich elite that dictate the "simpletons" and the poor. The poor have no chance to get rich or better them selves.

In Capitalism "the right" there are three or more classes. The 1.Rich
2. middle
3. poor

The rich man can wind up as poor as I am or remain rich or get richer. The middle class can do just the same. The poor can do just the same. Every person is in control of their life. Their ambition is the controlling factor of how their life ends.

No. Left and right have numoerous political ideas and theories, some of them want the elite weak and others don't. For instance, Liberals want the Elite strong, but Communist want the Elite weak.

Not exactly. The left wants the mediocrities to be the elite, and to achieve that purpose they organize in large numbers to bring their betters down. The right wants the elite to be the elite. Compare a nation to a human body. The right wants the brain to think and the feet to carry the body's weight. The left wants the feet to think and the brain to carry the body's weight.

Forget communism... The answer is democratic socialism. You don't have to get rid of the elite, just make them pay their fair share of taxes instead of letting them write it off just because they're elitists. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights will protect everyone. I don't fear socialism...I fear the wealth of an entire nation concentrated in the hands of a few GREEDY bastards!!!

I think in their own way they both want what's best for everyone, they just have different opinions on how to accomplish it. What we need are some new politicians who can put their egos aside long enough to do what's right for all of us instead of themselves. They need to be able to find some common ground with each other and stop all of the name calling and finger pointing.

The left isn't communist in the us. you may see them somewhere but mostly we're capitalist of course. We would like to see more people have a chance at the American dream instead of a few elite wealthy families.

the left don't want it like that we believe that if a person makes millions or billions every year they have most of the money so they should pay most of the tax's its easy we aren't for sharing the wealth just distributing it a little better than a CEO making 1000 times more than the janitor who works long and hard too, I want to bring back the new deal which between Regan and Bush has been buried but the middle class was thriving before this and might i say business was doing quite well too
