Would you have reminded her that today is only Thursday? That is what I did today....should I have allowed her to carry on thinking it was Friday?

You did the right thing! I always have to check on what day it is. I couldn't remember what today was! The week has gone by quickly!

i think that she was trying to tell you,that she was going to call in sick tomorrow and have a long weekend!:)
but then you just had to tell her it was thursday.....:)
