I grew up in one of the largest cities in New England. The population, including illegal immigrants who don't have green cards, is in the neighborhood of 200,000.
I know that's not NYC, but by New England standards it's pretty big.
I don't live in the city now though...I live in a New England town...of about 16,000 people. LOL, there are towns that are very small....this is not microscopically small, but it's small by the standards I grew up with.
There were six or seven high schools in the city I grew up in.

I was born & lived all my life in a small town called Grenfell, in NSW Australia. One year ago I moved to Sydney, which is the capital city of the state of NSW.

Im a small town country boy! I live in Dorris CA. Try to find it on the map ;) Ill give you a hint, its about 5 Mi. south of Oregon and in the middle of the state. Hwy 97 runs through the middle of town.........

I am from a small town, but they call it a villiage. Now, I live in a smaller town that doesn't even have a gas station or a fast food restaurant.
