There isn't really a great answer for this question but it is very true. Is it comfort? Is it trust that they will forgive us regardless of the damage we do? Who knows but we do it!

Some people hurt the ones they love the most. Those people should be deprived of love and then see how painful it is. If they were smart, then they would not do that again.

No one should hurt anyone.

We do this because it is safer than a stranger whom just may hurt us reeeeel bad and not worry what happens to us. I think you should say; Why do we hurt the people we know love us???

It's just the way it works. If you love someone, you're going to end up hurting them in some way or another. If it doesn't happen like that, you probably don't love them. If that makes any sense???

Because sometimes hurting them is the only way of trying not to show that things have changed.
People have moved on, and Life has moved on also.

I agree. To test the love we try to push them as far as we can.

It's a design for failure though. The further we can push them, the further we feel we have to go in order to find the limits.

And sometimes you only see the limits in the rear view mirror.

We don't hurt people we love. That's why when someone is hurting you...it's NOT love.

Because we feel safe and comfortable with them knowing that they will never stray from us but it can back fire though if we take them for granted in this way, they may just walk away
