Frequency of masturbation is determined by many factors, e.g., one's resistance to sexual tension, hormone levels influencing sexual arousal, sexual habits, peer influences, health and one's attitude to masturbation formed by culture.[15] Medical causes have also been associated with masturbation.[16][17][18]

Different studies have found that masturbation is frequent in humans. Alfred Kinsey's studies have shown that 92% of men and 62% of women have masturbated during lifespan.[12] Similar results have been found in British national probability survey. It was found that 95% of men and 71% of woman masturbated at some point in their lives. 73% of men and 37% of woman reported masturbating in the four weeks before their interview, while 53% of men and 18% of woman reported masturbating in previous seven days.[19]

"Forty-eight female college students were asked to complete a sexual attitudes questionnaire in which a frequency of masturbation scale was embedded. Twenty-four of the women (the experimental group) then individually viewed an explicit modeling film involving female masturbation. One month later, all subjects again completed the same questionnaire. Subjects in the experimental group also completed a questionnaire evaluating aspects of the film. Results indicated that the experimental group reported a significant increase in the average monthly frequency of masturbation, as compared to the control group. This same group, however, reported that the film had no effect on sexual attitudes or behavior."
So in my Opinion it will go during a period of time.

It's your body, and it's not sinful to touch yourself -- it's nobody's business but yours. Porn is another story. It supports criminals, degrades women, distorts the nature of sex, and should not be a part of your life at any age.

Usually it's easier to replace a bad habit with a good habit instead of just trying to get rid of the bad habit, So find something you can do instead of watching porn, something that you will enjoy in a non-sexual way or that makes you feel good about yourself. Maybe go running or shoot baskets. Maybe during the time of day when you're used to watching porn, arrange to do some serious volunteer work. Set a goal of two extra A's on your next report card and study hard at the library instead of coming home and turning on the smut.

Don't let porn conrol you -- you need to get in charge of your own life and how you spend it. Porn is really unhealthy and teaches guys to regard females as objects instead of treating them as equal human beings, and it sets totally unreal expectations (such as how big a penis is supposed to be -- the ones on porn are mostly digitally enhanced). Breaking this bad habit is an important way to earn some real self-respect.

You could consider getting a filter on your computer (something like NetNanny) that will make it harder to access the filthy stuff. BTW, porn sites are very likely to give you a computer virus.

Keep at it even if you slip a few times. You are a valuable person, and you should spend your time doing things that make you proud of yourself, not watching some sicko sex stuff. Sex is beautiful at the right time with the right person. Don't let porn pollute it for you.

NO, no, no, no, no.
Masturbating is NOT a sin.
Its much better than sex before marriage, in God's eyes.
In the bible, it said that sex before marriage is a sin, and it never said anything about masturbating.
Porn. Its kind of wrong to watch porn, just stop watching it.
When you want to masturbate, masturbate with something you created in your head, not by some cheap pornsite.
And, its normal when a young teenager feels ashamed after masturbating.
Though, as you get older, you'll realize, and you'll know that masturbating is normal, and you won't feel so ashamed.
Happened to me when i was younger.
I would masturbate, feel total ashamed, and then i'd try to stop. I came by a site that said that God never said anything about masturbating. Now i feel totally normal with masturbating.

Masturbating.
Its not a sin.
You won't be embarresed about it in the long run.

Porn.
Probably not right in God's eyes.

first masturbation is a normal act and the only reason you should quite is if it is taking over your life and keeping you from having a social life. A little bit of American history:
Our attitudes about masturbation have deep roots for sure. Around the turn-of-the-century, some adults were so against masturbation that they forced their daughters to wear gloves made of a steel-wool-like material (like Brillo pads) at night and to put a powder on their genitals that made them painful to touch. They made their sons wear metal chastity belts at night that made it painful to have an erection. During the 1820s, some parents prevented male masturbation by piecing the foreskin with a wire and soldering the ends together. Boys and girls were discouraged from masturbation by the threat of blindness, madness and illness. Of course, none of these masturbation-induced maladies proved true.

The subject of masturbation was taboo years before the United States was created. All kinds of chastity belts and other devices were used to prevent masturbation, probably as far back in history as you can go. This will vary from culture to culture.
Most surveys suggest that approximately 94% of teenage males "admitted" that they masturbated and about 70% of teen females "admitted" to this also. It’s always hard to establish absolute truth in any survey on sexuality and sexual behavior, since they are influenced so much by what people think is "normal". It is important to note the word "admitted" in the results of these surveys. Doesn't that word imply something shameful about the act of masturbating? We think so. This leads us to believe that we are still suffering from the residual Victorian morals when boys and girls were discouraged from masturbating.

Its not a sin. If you where truly worried, you would have stopped by now. Whoever told you that is a crusty, pleasureless person with no idea how human urges work.
