Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Even if you're content to sing in the shower, there are some things you can do to improve your voice. This is probably the best online course to improve your singing skills https://tr.im/WmU1E
Your golden voice will be ringing out in no time!

I like Xatzigiannis the best, than Pliatsikas, alone or with Pix Lax .
What I find especially interesting is greek rock music, and I recently discovered Socratis Malamas. I am not sure only what is the biggest challenge to me (as a foreigner), his music or lyrics.
I don't like in particular singers that are the most popular in Greece, but between Vissi/Vandi for example I choose Vandi.

I find it too difficult to chose one singer - I go with songs rather than singers.
My brother-in-law adores Notis (Please insert surname - always spell it wrong) He grew up in Kos.
Personally I think he's the most depressing of all Greek singers - he's married to an English girl (unless my memory is wrong!- I wait to be corrected) as well (we both worked as holiday reps in Kos at the same time) Do you think that's why he sings about depressing things! lol! hmmmmm have to ask hubby that one!

I looooove Hatsigiannis. His voice is smooth and raspy at the same time... what's not to like? I'm a big fan of Vandi, as well- but who isn't? She has all the classics down. And you've gotta love Paparizou's high-spirit stuff- Katse kala, mambo... she's awesome. Giorgos Hristou is also really good, and Kokkinou's music just makes you want to dance. I'm big into my greek music.
Just no kalomoira, please.

I don't much care about the "latest Greek music" because it's not much different from Euro or American.
But I love Kazantzidis and Ithikon Admeataton.

most of the greek singers, think so high about themselves and the thing about the money they get..i find it unacceptable (them getting in one night what a normal person would get in a year)
let alone that most of them are cocaine addicts
there are plenty of people with good voices and many nice songs but what matters is the characther too.how can i admire such persons?

Michalis Hatzigiannis! The most talented singer in the the last decade, to me. His songs are full of feeling and they belong to this kind of songs those are going to be listened for many many years from now.
