What's the best thing you ever got from the dollar store?

A good bottle of wine. Yeah, I know how it sounds. But, there is a dollar store in Folsom, CA that get pallets of wine that don't sell for whatever reason(Napa Valley, but not top name brand) and usually they're pretty good. They would normally go for about $8-10 in the grocery store. For a buck a bottle, you can afford to experiment. If it doesn't work out, then into the spaghetti sauce tout de suite . :-)

I actually got Harry Potter items that were $10 and more at other stores. Those are the deals I look for at our dollar store. Yes, I paid $1 for those items.

A 2006 brand new Chevy Corvette! It was the last one they had, now all they have is brand new 2005 models, and I'm not going to waste a dollar on something that old!

99 cent store....3 liters diet cola..& the big size candy bars ( like Big Hunk) that sell form $ 1.25 to $1.89 in other stores.

a roaster to cook my turkey. While everyone ran to walmart or the grocery store, I just walked in and grabbed my roaster and walked out. WAIT I did pay for it.... anyway, I didn't have to wait in lines or pay much for it.
