Since fool and ta3mya are so popular in Egypt, I was wondering if they are also popular in Lebanon.
So do you all like to get together at uncle Moneer's house and eat fool w ta3mya?
If not, then why? uncle moneer is so nice and his family members are so friendly.
As a matter of fact, I am going there tomorrow.
So my question is what do you like to do on your weekend?
I like to sleep all day long while watching t.v. Then go with Mohammed Sa3eed to the cinema.

Yes we do eat fool and ta3mya ya 3azizi, inta sou2alak kida leh? We eat labna wa mouloukhiyya tooo, they taste so good, yasstahlou bou2akk...

Who's uncle Moneer???? No, we haven't had the privilege to visit him. Why? Because uncle shafi2 can get jealous...

Now to answer ur main question, I like to start the weekend by having a breakfast in bed, made by my husband's hands. Then I would tell him that my back hurts so much that I will stay in bed for a few minutes, if he can take care of the kids...
( I wish I could do that...) We like to go out on weekends and spend some time with the Sayde family or with Naeema... Or at Im Fahed's....

Finally, I really enjoyed answering your question Ismaily, u should come more often here, so does that make me have the right to ask you the same thing again?? ( You know what I'm refering to... Yes ur avatar!)

WHO ARE YOU CALLING FOOL!?

oh, sorry, I got carried away. No, I haven't had fool since like years. As for ta3mya, is it that same as falafel? I haven't had flafel since years as well.

It's been a while since I've seen you around.

I have to agree that uncle Moneer is very nice but he's a bit far from where I live.

I'll try to have falafel this weekend, but I have to fix the car. I should sell it and have someone else have the headache of fixing the brakes (they need like 15 minutes at the mechanic's).

One might think that my life is sweet but who's fooling whom? I mean I have to admit thought that yes, it got better after I got myself a g/f. But let's not mention how moving to a new place sucks BAD! I still haven't found my winter clothes. I bet my brother took them with him across the oceans so that he doesn't buy anything. But that's another story and I don't feel like typing much.

Have I told you about the last movie I watched? It also sucked! I slept half way through it. Okay I didn't quite sleep. I was doing other stuff, but I can't tell you that since it totally violates Yahoo Community rules.

Okay, I'm going to keep my answer short and straight to the point and end it right here.

Peace!

No, I dont like to eat fool as in Lebanon. The only way I eat them are cooked and in salad.
About my week ends.. are the days I work more, bcoz are the days the maid is off and I have to cook for all my family.
After that, I read or come to the PC.
If weather is nice I took the car and the camera and drive to countryside and take some photos,.

Thanks for the invitation I'd love to, i swear it had been a month I'm telling everyone i wish i can eat Ta3mia, fol is heavy for my colon. But finally i ate like 2 spoons today, 3o2bal el ta3mia.

I woke up at 8:00am today. In my week end i don't wake up late not to waste the morning fresh air. And how more quit streets are ( although quit rest of the week ), today we'll have guests and we are preparing grilled chicken and bashamel pasta, want to come?

what is ta3meya ? falafal? anyway yes there is fool in lebanon but not as popular as in egypt coz lebanese are hard workers nd u probably know that fool has a chemical which is hard for the liver to get get rid off ( like alcohol) cozing drawziness and sleepniss nd we lebanese r not masateel like u dumbass egyptians. + fool digestion produces a very upleasent byproduct! in case u dont know what am talkin about then go eat a can of fool with egyptian recipe nd c.

We do, but not together.

We call ta3miya falafel and it's very common.

We don't really go to uncle Moneer for it because he's rather out of the way for us and I also noticed the other day that he didn't wash his hands after going to you know what.

so for the best Falafel, I suggest you try m3allem zakhia, you will thank me later.
