Are hypocrites more successful than others?

Sadly, in my forty four almost forty five years on this planet, and in the United States, it does appear that people who are not that good get along better than those who attempt to be good moral, and ethical individuals.

My husband and I both agree that we will never amass a fortune because we refuse to be nasty or resort to hypocritical, and using behaviors to do so.

I see how these huge businesses use such low tactics to amass their fortunes. They say they want to do good in the communities they do business, but in realtiy all it is is hype. They don't want to give their employees proper benifits, and many don't give even health benifits, let alone any holidays other than the major ones in this country. Even then companies such as Walmart force every employee to work at least four hours on Thanksgiving. My mother-in-law was unable to participate in Thanksgiving with us due to this reqirement by good ol' Sam Walton. The owner of Walmart.

I see these corperate types who put on the smooze to those they wish something from, and talk about them behind their backs. They are brown nosers of the worst sort, and yet they get ahead by doing so. They flatter and attempt to please in demorilizing fashions and yet they get promotions by doing so.

So, yeah, I think hypocrites can be more successfull in finacial and caeer areas than those who are not.

With that said, I think real success comes from how well you are a family and community member. If you fail as a husband or wife or mother or father, then you are a failure in life. The real success comes from successful relationships, not how high you climb in your career or job, or how much money you amass over a lifetime.

I never hear of the very rich regret not working harder, or not amassing more, I hear them regret ruined relationships, and lost children and spouses. I hear them say how they wish they had worked less, focused less on monitary items, and more on family and relationships.

Career or monitary success is a cold bed fellow and is a loney place to be when you are ready to die and nobody is at your bedside.
