Could someone PLEASE set me straight? I'd love to get the original three movies (NOT the "enhanced" versions) on DVD for my sons. Are they available with decent picture and sound?!? Please point me in the right direction here...or if the existing versions stink, tell me THAT and I'll wait!

Thanks for your help!

I wanted those too, and they were released last year. Each set has two discs. The original, untouched versions on Disc 1 and the "special edition" versions on Disc 2.

Most stores - WalMart, Best Buy, Circuit City - carry them.

There was a DVD box set of the original versions available last year. I checked Starwars.com and I don't see them. Try here at Amazon.com

It came out last September. I remember seeing a box set of them but there weren't many. Mostly if you bought the unedited version of ep 4 it came in a set that also included a copy of ep 1 and so on. If you can't find them in the local Wal-Mart look on ebay and amazon.
