Ok so here's my question.

Persons C and CC are married.... other persons N and S are married, if C and N kiss, is this considered an affair or cheating on your spouse??

I chose using letters instead of names for some reason..

I am not the one playing with fire....... someone I know is. And it's happened more than once, more then twice.

And I don't know how to cope with the information that C keeps telling me... I feel like I am going to just explode one day and blurt everything out....

I don't know exactly what kind of kiss it is, all I know is it isn't no greeting kiss. And nobody sees it happen.....

I can't pick a best answer, as the best answer in my eyes would be "Don't worry about a thing, you'll wake up tomorrow and it will have ALL been a dream".

I'll just let the yahoo public vote for the best answer.

Thank you all though for answering my question.

if the kissing continues it can turn into a full blown affair, anything u do behind your spouses back that u wouldn't do in front of them is considered cheating.

I'm sure that C and N did not just run into each other on the street one day and decide to kiss. Unless it was something very casual like a "hello glad to see ya" kiss on the cheek, then something must of lead to the encounter. Cheating is as much a betrayal of promises made and trust placed in you, as it is a specific act such as kissing. So if C and N are attracted to each other and acted on this without their spouses knowledge, then yes it was cheating, if they realize it was a huge mistake and never get into the situation again...great...no harm done, no affair.

The kiss itself is not solely indicative of an affair.....I would say that C and N are cheating on their spouse by kissing...because I am willing to bet it isn't something they would want their respective spouses to know....Anything you do with another person other than you spouse....behind their back...is cheating.....

So C is confessing to you that they are kissing N? Has C confessed to anything else? I find it strange that the only thing that C is telling you is that they kissed N....If they are in fact kissing...I would imagine that there is more going on....and if more is going on....it has become an affair...

It matters not if C and N are of the same sex either....

Kissing is over the line. Do you think couples who have affairs just fall down and find themselves suddenly engaged in the act? They all started with talking that progressed to kissing that led to ____. I would consider kissing to be an affair because the attraction was acted on...

Its like a minor level of an affair but chances are its going to go to a higher level real soon. You can let C know that you really dont want to know any of this for whatever reason and would appreciate not knowing anymore and want nothing to do with any of it

No its not an affair but you ARE playing with fire and will get burned. Stop all bodily contact right now!!!! It must be you if youre coding names. The song title IT STARTED WITH A KISS.... should awaken your senses.

I would think it would only be considered an affair it it continues on. A kiss, well....I think its a cheat. Be careful, tho. Sounds like you may be playing with fire.

Like you said it is cheating if the other spouse is unaware of these events. And more than likely it has been more than just a kiss.

Once is wrong and should NEVER happen again, if it happens againthen it is cheating. Having said that, if I found out that my hubby kissed someone else, rather he planned to do it again or not, I would kick his butt out!@
