First of all, I only know of one song she sings, and by god, while I used to like it, it sounds plain depressing now. This chick is a total worthless skank. She may be the most famous loser I've ever known.

She is terrified of failing. To the point where the only way she can get on stage without being paralysed in fear is to be high.
Of course, this doesn't enhance a performance. It's a vicious cycle as the worse and worse her preformances are, the worse and worse the fear becomes. The lower and lower her self-esteem plummets.
And we know she has low self-esteem as this is how she came to depend on drugs. The single main reason people take drugs is to give them some self confidence.
Not everyone who takes drugs has mjor esteem issues, but, if they're already there most drugs will weed them out and expose them for all to see.

She is a talented singer and has been awarded many awards because of this..That being said it's drugs that have been her downfull.
Im sure underneath all that makeup and hair is a poor,sad,and lonely girl who is addicted to drugs..
I just hope she can get clean and continue being a great artist.

She went to stage school learned to be a stage school brat. Released an album that was reasonably successfully. Became a heroin addict and released a second album that was overly successful because an annoying song about rehab.

Never heard her music, that I know of, but I've read her stories, and man, that is one messed up chick.
Some people don't handle fame and money well - she seems to be one of them.
