Loaded question, as we will still be at war if Rudd gets in.
But, to answer your question. Labor will win, it is just a matter of by how much. There are too many marginal seats, each needing less than 5% to lose them to Labor. The swing will probably be between 5 and 8%, giving Labor some previously safe Liberal seats, as well.
Although I will vote Labor, it seems almost incomprehensible that, considering that the economy is the best it has been in decades, and is growing stronger, while other western countries are heading toward recession, that there is about to be a change of government.
Howard, had he retired two years ago, would have saved the Liberal party from defeat, he is now seen - probably unfairly - as pig-headed, stubborn, and out of touch.
He should also have wound back Workplace Agreements, the Iraq conflict, and not mentioned nuclear reactors.

Edit: - To the respondent Michelle - I think you are optimistically hopeful, but it is wishful thinking. People do not want Costello as PM, they do not want nuclear reactors, they do not like the war in Iraq. And anyone who signs a workplace agreement gets paid less, not more as Howard keeps saying. Employers were always able to pay good workers more under previous legislation - they wanted to pay their workers less.

The only thing that can save Howard now is another Tampa, or Mark Latham.
Thank Christ Kevin is way smarter than Latham.
I don't think people are really voting against the war, rather voting against Workchoices and the Libs' overall dirtyness and dishonesty.
Oh, and against Costello!

Hopefully democracy.
According to every poll taken the Libs are on the way out.
The only way left to pull one out of the bag is if he has Rigged the election.
Going on his mates performances in the US we cant put it past him.
I just hope that after tomorrow is over we can look at it and declare it to be a fair election.

Labor will win and Greens will control the Senate instead of the Coalition and there is a hope of the return of a functioning democracy after all..............what a weekend to look forward to.

Howard will get in for sure if the country knows what's best for them. Whilst Rudd is a nice guy Labor just doesn't have the right team of people behind Rudd to make it work and we will all be worse off under a Labor government!
