I would thank him for showing us how much we should have appreciated the past instead of taking things for granted.

I'm thankful that he has made it impossible for a Republican to win next year.

For being an inspiration to the mentally handicapped. He has shown them that, one day too, they can become President.

I'd thank him for at least getting people interested in politics, even if it is because they hate him.

I've tried for half an hour to find something humorous to say, but I just cannot find anything funny about the tragically disastrous decisions Bush has made during his terms of office.

We should all thank god he cannot be elected again, and we should pray his replacement can "fix" what he has screwed up. Amen.

Greetings, I'd thank him for being the inspiration to encourage kids as to why you need an education and common sense, to NOT be like our current president who has wrecked our budget, gotton soldiers killed for a never ending vietnam style war, and wrecked our country beyond repair.

Thanks for keeping the terrorist attacks off our home soil. Thanks for doing a demanding job with a lot of people taking pot shots and arm chair quarterbacking your decisions constantly. You might not have got everything right but you made a call and stuck to it. Right or wrong thats where I stand(here comes the onslaught of thumbs down ratings for this but oh well).

Cheers

A.C.

If I were forced into it, I'd say thanks for creating discontent among your people, for killing off thousands of our soldiers without a care, for using this war for your personal vendetta, and for reminding me why I voted Independent. Thanks a lot, jerk.

For all the Bush fans out there, I'm sorry if this rubs you the wrong way. But everyone's entitled to their opinion, right? After all, that's what we're told i this country :-)
