I moved here last year, and thought that i had done my home work well on the High Schools and finding a place to move to neat the School i had picked. Yeah what a nightmare the damn zoning law had changed, just before we moved out here. So i signed my daughter up at Odyssey Charter School, it's home schooling done on the computer and she only goes there 1 day a week. Its a safe school and all the kids fit in there and get on so well.
Apart from that we enjoy it here, the weather is always great and there's lots of jobs and the money i make here is way more then i made back in Michigan. And my daughter found a fun part time job at the local mall, there's some many cool places to go out to eat and so many places are open 24/7.
I moved to the south west part of Vegas and i really like it up this way and there's store on every corner, and you don't have to drive far to find what you need.

I lived there for 9 years and 2 of my 3 daughters went to high school there- it was the absolute worst move I could have made. The schools are terrible- a lot of the kids are bad influences. You have to be strong to get through school in LV. We all moved away when the first grandchild was old enoough to start kindergarten.

Las Vegas, NV has a community college, a university, and a world famous cooking school. You can do it all and never leave town. Its not that expensive. when I lived there I lived in a two bedroom apartment for $800 and I lived near a grocery store.
