oh i'm sorry i'm having small cramps right now (they haven't gotten bad yet) but i would recommend anaprox/naproxen u should ask for a prescription from ur doctor i used to try midol and all that but it does nothing for me but anaprox is aleve and it works wonders so try that or there's always a warm bath, heating pad, or hot tea/coffee

Because of how bad the pain is I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on and also your doctor to have them evaluate the situation further.

Something you can do in the mean time is try increasing your iron levels at this time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course). I found that this helps ease my cramping when I have my periods.

Hi cramps are the worst, don't overdo it with the medication.

Try placing a hot water bottle on your tummy, or one of those beanies that you can warm in the microwave.

Exercise can also help with menstrual cramps as it releases pain relieving hormones.

IF they really are so bad that you feel you cant cope, go see your doctor, they can prescribe something to ease this for you.

Next time take advil not midol, and take it before cramps start ( or when you expect your period ) for now use a heating pad, or first take a hot bath then apply a heating pad while lying in bed.

I've had "this is what giving birth feels like" cramps.
I saw my doctor and told her this has happened before and she gave me a prescription right away.
In the mean time, lie on your back and pretend you're riding a bicycle sound lame but it works.
