Your bike is worth more in parts than the entire thing.

Be very patient because not many people have this sled.

Check with antique bike restorers for tips.

Don't trade it for a 12 pack of beer.

I did find out that approx 10,500 were made in 1966, very few were imported into USA. They were mainly sold in Europe.
US versions sold for $250, and most sat on dealers floors.
In 1965, the engine was pumped up 1 inch and boasted a 67% increase in power. They still leaked oil like all Harleys and could not compete with the Jap invasion.

Send me a pick of this bike and condition.
The more I read about this boat anchor, the more I would like to have one mounted on the wall in back yard.

They are both hard to find as well as hard to find parts for them. This is a double edged sword. Try some of the forums online and see if you find an aermacchi forum. This would lead you not only to a price but someone interested. I wouldn't start by asking what is it worth, I would post it for sale and see what you get offered. I had a friend who had one with a bad wiring harness. It would have cost more to have the wiring harness replaced or rewired from scratch than the bike was actually worth. Good Luck! - Victor

A bad time to sell a Harley but it is gonna get worse. These bikes were a fad from when everyone had money, now everyone that bought one on easy credit needs to sell. Make sure your bike is the lowest priced one on Craig's list and you should do ok. Now is the time, winter is coming and the bubble has popped.

Scuse me, but is this a 50cc or a 250cc or maybe a 350cc. I wasn't aware they made a 50cc machine.

I suggest that you look for an enthusiest board, and talk with others who enjoy the little harleys.
You can post a queston on craigslist in the side bar in one of the "chat" boards.
My quess is that in reasonable condition, it is going to be worth about 2500...but this is a simple guess.
