I envy you..! Eydie is my favorite female singer. Her voice range is incredible. I've got a CD of hers and at the end of one song she goes up five full octaves on one breath.

Eydie was born in 1931
Steve was born in 1935

I figured they must be around the same age as Liz. I haven't
heard of them in years and years. I remember Steve would
be on the Carol Burnett Show and that's been off a good
number of years now. He'd always be guests on shows and
leave Edie at home, I guess. And I thought they always worked as a team. The last time I saw Edie on TV she already had a weight problem. It happens to most of us after
getting into our 50's and beyond. I didn't realize she was older
than Steve. And he's been lucky to hold onto his baby face
looks for so long. It's been part of his charm and box office
appeal. And Edie's always been his cute counterpart.

I would say more like pushing 80. I know when I was in my 20's that they were in their 30's. I'm almost 66. I loved them!

I used to watch them on Tv when I was a teenager and thought they were great. How time flies.
