i have the most disgusting nails imaginable! and my friend has bought me a manicure but my nails a gross! i am going to feel so embarrased when i have to get it done! do manicurists mind treating peopl with horrible nails?? will they think im an idiot?

they have plenty of ppl walk in every day who have feet worse than that so i imagine they wont mind,you are paying right?
i mean the only real reason to go to a nail salon is to get something fixed or for a party or something so im guessing people with horrible nails walk in a lot

If you are embarassed, spend some time on your nails for a couple of weeks, make an effort to keep them clean and filed, use a handcream etc. Or you might call the shop and ask to switch the gift to a pedicure. I love pedicures and manicures but you must take care of your nails in between visits.
My manicurist does tell me tales about what she has seen. I think they dread poorly maintained feet more than anything.
No matter who I go to, they always comment on how great my feet are and they are practically no work...that is because I take care of them daily. Enjoy your gift maybe it will provide an incentive to change your grooming habits for the better.

if you don't have an ingrown or certain infection, don't get frustrated..
and don't get embarrased, nail technicians do a lot of nails daily and they are experienced with all kinds of nail. There is no such idiot going to have her/his manicure but they would mostly think of you as someone who really needs their service because you deserve it and willing to have it done professionally.
Yes, they will massage your hand and arm depends on the pressure you want..hard or soft and mask is really good to smoothens your skin.
Don't be scared but be excited about your visit..it won't last for couple of hours and you'll see the difference..if this really bad....you need to maintain your manicure on regular visit until you decided to do it your own..

don't freak thosse people are trained to handle gross nails and make them fabulous just say that you don't really know what to do to yout nails theey will give you tips and you won't be embarresed

ahaha ur friend gave you the manicute cuz urs nails r so crappy.
oh well the people cant say they wont do your nails.........well for your sake they better not be allowed to say that lolz
