what should the vin of a uk 2005 kx look like?

Hi im going to pick up a 2005 kx 250 at the weekend and i want to make sure its a 2005(got stung last week buying a bike that was three years older than advertised but i didnt notice till i got it home!) what should the vin number of a 2005 look like?

The tenth digit of the VIN is the indicator. Yours should be a "5". For a 2005 model. Same is true for most makes of motorcycles.
