Okay, so Christmas is a huge deal for me and my dad so we always have at least three trees. One tree is gonna be Disney themed so all Disney ornaments. The next tree is gonna be only silver and gold ornaments. So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a theme for the last tree. It's the biggest one that's gonna go in the window.

since u are having one in silver and gold, that took my one idea and going all white tree, and all one color balls, and same color lights, but I will go for this: nature-based ornaments, or black and white only ornaments. or red bows only. icicles and gold garland.

Greetings, that's cool, I'm glad I'm not the only one with multiple trees, my friends shake their head at me lol. I collect ornaments have 13 trees many are just 12" tiny table ones but I have 3 huge ones. One this year is all white lights and white ornaments, even my garland is green with white flecks, then I have a multicolor light tree with all color ornaments on it, a pink tree with just pink ornaments, a purple tree with purple, blue and silver, then a gold tree with gold and red, a silver tree with just silver, then a red/green tree. I have one other tree that is just cartoon themes with a few Disney's. How about a red/green/white type theme? I bet you have tons of ornaments those colors to use. You should each get each other a tiny table top tree and then each year buy each other a special ornament for it and watch the collections grow. It's a very sentimental thing later in life to have those special trees. My late friend Kat had just that, a tree that was all ornaments we gave her each year on it. She had no family but us and that tree is very special to me now and sits by my computer.

One year Mum actually let me decorate the tree. Well, to a point, then she told me off for taking too long :(

I pulled out lots of little cardboard boxes, toilet rolls and other bibs and bobs that had been saved and made props to match our decorations. I sort of made each section of the tree like a little theme of its own. I'm trying to remember now, but we had some little dolls in national costumes, so I put them together as a fashion parade. I hung the snow flakes with the reindeer and skating Santa and Mrs Claus. I painted a box and tube to be a brick oven and chimney for another Mrs Claus, I think. And I have some vague idea that I painted pebbles in bright colours to sprinkle around the bottom in the tub as gems for the seven dwarfs. We didn't have any dwarf ornaments, so I'm not sure what inspired that. Maybe I just thought the tub needed spruiking up.

How about a 'Family Tree?'. Collect all family treasures and pictures and place them on the tree....perhaps liven it up slightly with a santa hat on top rather than a star etc?!

As its for the window, however, maybe something slightly less personal is appropriate? Errrm....what about twelve days of christmas?

Right im all out of ideas! Have a good xmas!!

Peppermint Candy Cane theme. You can have red and white bulbs, with candy cane ornaments and ribbon that has candy canes or is just striped like a candy cane. Then of course you can load it down with real peppermint candy canes which always makes for a yummy tree!

While our tree doesn't have just one theme, my Mom has kept some of the stuff we made as kids in school at Christmas. Now that I have kids, I decorate the tree with their stuff as well as mine plus whatever else the kids want to put on there.

I bet you have a local micheal's store near your house. Go to about the end of the store to see lots and lots of ornaments that are sold induvialy. Go to every one of your favorite store, and I will bet that they have some ornaments. Choose some you like.
