SE quadrant. (bottom right part of map)
the old wayfarer's ship only appears for a short time, when you are supposed to give him the food for the mermaid girl. after you find him and do what you're supposed to do, it will never be there again. you can see ships on the map, so there is no need to be specific

well the Prince of red lions ship is a the north west and old wayfear's ship is in the south east hope you get the spin attack thing =)
