Ladies ...... if your partner buys you flowers , do you think he is after anything ?

I used to buy flowers of varying expense but bad luck has always followed swiftly behind . I shall tell a story of my first romantic flower gesture going back 25 years ,I was in Ayr on a trip while my girlfriend was working near Glasgow and I sent a huge bunch of flowers to her Friends house where she was staying ,you know so she would get them when returning home from work , anyhow they forgot to attach the name tag and her Friend thought they were for her from the boyfriend that had just dumped her the day before needless to say when it all got sorted out when i arrived later that night the tears where flowing freely as you ladies probably know and i was ceremoniously in the dog house for a very long time afterwards . Unfortunately things haven't changed , 9 penalty points on my licence relating to valentines day and flowers . So now my latest lady gets a tooth brush on V DAY.

aw, that's sweet.
usually, i think the guy is just being sweet wehn he gets me flowers, actually. Especially if he does his research and gets me a single flower, either red or white (my fav flower colors. i know, i'm weird like that) . I hate it though when u get in a fight w ur gf, and instead of calling, you send flowers with a completely impersonal note.

My bloke buys me flowers occasionally just to make me happy =) It took me a while to realize he hadn't done or didn't want anything...
I love flowers, it's always nice to get them!

my bloke when he is home does little nice things for me like buys me chocs and flowers all kinds of things just to surprize me your a good hubby for doing that don't ever change.
