Considering Macy is having its sell starting 5 AM, they should be up and going by 5 AM.
As for parking, I would try the underground parking first. However, the space will be limited, and you can try to have your car Valeted. If not, there are a lot of shopping center across the street and you can try there. However, since these stores are also very popular, you may end up driving around a bit.
Get there early and start shopping early. Everyone else will.
Place to eat in Galleria: Lots of OK restaurant next to the skating rink, or you can try Fox Sports Grill. Or you can walk across 610 to Grotto's - nice restaurant to eat.

there is valet which is actually very cheap and i think it opens @ 10-11. You can always LOOK ON THE WEBSITE!!!! :) good luck..and welcome to houston. Best city!!!!!!!!!!
