I was in 10th grade music class when it came over the school loud speaker. It was Thursday if I remember correctly. Total shock - total disbelief. I remember being glued to the TV for 2 days watching everything and saw the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald byJack Ruby live. My thoughts? What if this would not have happened......

Oswald was definitely set up to be the "patsy". I don't think Oswald was completely innocent of wrongdoing, but he definately could not have fired the shot that killed the President. That shot came from Kennedy's right front, while Oswald was known to have been in the Book Depository.
The evidence is overwhelming against there having been a lone gunman. The fact the government insists on not acknowledging that fact tells me that cover-up was involved. Someone in the upper echelons of our government wanted JFK gone, probably to pave the way for our involvement in Vietnam, something Kennedy opposed.

I was alive for all of them and now that I am 66 and have read most of the data on them all and knowing what I know about our devious government I believe it was just plain murder. People disappear all the time in government and the military service and many are just "eliminated". Kennedy and his money from his grandfather's investment in booze was pretty independent from the snakes in Washington who were tied to oil companies etcetera. Couple that with his humanistic altruistic views and being a Catholic added to his treat to the established gluttons in the government. He had to be eliminated and I generalize here for Bobby too. He was a crime breaker upper and our government is heavily invested in the underworld to carry out it's underground army aims. We live in a sorry assed country and it is getting worse!

I watched the whole saga unfold on TV, and - from the very beginning - didn't believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin. When Oswald said he was a "patsy", it made perfect sense to me.
I'll be 95 when the sealed documents are released, and I hope I'm alive to see how the Warren Commission white-washed this tragic episode in American history. For those of you who will be much younger in 2038, I urge you to study the documents carefully and try to find the truth behind this murder. I believe our government had a role in the assassination because of JFK's radical opposition to 'establishment politics'.
In my lifetime, our government has lied to us countless times:
* FDR's allowing soldiers to die at Pearl Harbor knowing it would lead us into World War II;
* Events at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947;
* U-2 spy planes flown over the U.S.S.R.;
* U.S. battleships being 'attacked' in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us into the Vietnam War;
* Affects of Agent Orange of Vietnam veterans;
* Reagan's 'arms-for-hostages' deal that became known as the infamous Iran Contra scandal;
* A third-rate burglary at the Watergate Hotel which resulted in the resignation of a U.S. President;
* "Weapons of mass destruction" which led us into an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustified, immoral 'war' with another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States;
* Torture and sexual abuse of 'detainees' in direct violation of the rules of the Geneva Convention.
Is it too much to ask that our government be honest and totally truthful with its citizens? As Adolph Hitler once said, "How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think." -RKO- 11/22/07

I feel that JFK was murdered by the shadow government. Oswald was indeed a patsy - I do think there were multiple shooters in the assassination. Here are some interesting links on it:
