Can you tell which questions will get you a violation? I sure can't.

I can't either.

There is such a gray area when it comes to whether the information posted is chatting or simply a mechanism to gain further information.

Confusing answer, well, yes, but then nothing more can be said to clarfy it might constitute chatting and that is a no-no.

Chatting is when your primary purpose is of social nature. (you don't really care about the information, you just want to interact with friends)

A survey's primary purpose is to gather information.

Yahoo's primary purpose is to make money. Yahoo's policing of the 'rules' is only haphazard at best.

so...chatting is talking anynonymously/or not to any person u want around the globe ..whereas a survey is like answering interviews-like questions..srry hehe idefinition iz not too explicit

chatting is nonsense being exchanged though about 5 words
survey is taking a poll about nonsense
