I agree to a certain degree since anything over 25 years is considered "Classic". However, Classic Rock is typically defined as rock music not rock -n-roll made between 1964 and 1984. Rock n Roll would be 1945-1959. And before that you had DooWop and Big Band. With the clash of Punk Rock and Disco in the 1970's Classic Rock was there but a little less main stream. Then you hit the Techno, Pop and Hip Hop of the 80's and Alternative and Rap of the 90's that gets us where we are today, savoring and trying to recapture the past. Did you hear The New Kids on the Block have gotten back together and plan to tour by the end of the summer? Oh, and can you think of a better birthday than April 20, 1969. Viva la revolution.
