I like free verse type poetry, mostly, but rhyme is good too.
If you could give me a few details about your favorite that would be great! (Sorta the general feel of it)
Thanks!

Try and get an anthology if you can - more variation, so you can work out which style you prefer and you can read poems from loads of different poets.
I love 'The Nation's Favourite Poems' - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nations-Favourite-Poems-Griff-Jones/dp/0563387823/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1195768175&sr=1-1 - it is a British book, but it features loads of poets - from Shakespeare to Rudyard Kipling to Robert Frost etc. I've read the book so many times, it's all tattered now. I should get a new one!

But anyway, go for an anthology!

Probably not your style, but...

Wordsworth is the only poet I could ever stand (though there are a few specific poems by others that I find enjoyable). Wordsworth's intent was to produce poetry about nature using common language. I guess that's why I find it so worthwhile - I'm a country boy. Anyway, it's that traditional rhymey stuff - but good, despite that.
