I was born lebanese, than something happened to me. Ilearned not to say practiced lines like lebanon is the best, i learned not to gossip about others, i learned that staying a virgin till marriage is sacrad, i learned not to care to be better than everyone, and i learned humility. Now im not a lebanese anymore but a human being. It was an incredible transformation. I thank jesus for that:)

Yes, my belief system adds value to my life.
Before, when I was much younger, it used to add just a little value, somehow. Since I believed in God, there was that echoing thing which kept calling and talking to me whenever I just needed a whisper lol. At the age of 27, I can tell my belief system plays a major role in my life. It controls most of my decisions. It even beautifies most of my thoughts, sayings, emotions, actions and reactions.
I have my own moralities, either the ones were planted in me or those which grew up with me, which do not intersect with my religion but match it. However, my religion was the motivator to stop doing those self-damaging habits, acts, sins or whatever you want to call them. At the age of 27, I`m wise enough to judge myself, well behaved enough to be praised by people, non tobacco smoker anymore, non weed smoker anymore, niether an alcoholic anymore nor a sex addict anymore lol
Hope this would reflect the unseen part of the painting!

If I had realised how complete my faith would have made me feel as a person then I wouldn't have wasted so many years flippantly passing myself of as an agnostic, while all the time I was searching for my God.
My faith challanged me as I faced my first Ramadan not knowing whether I would find the fasting too hard. It seemed to me impossible to go all those hours without drinking even a sip of water. While I knew others did it, I reasoned that they had grown up knowing the demands of Ramadan and were used to it.
Then I realised that my fear was not really about not being able to take fluids, it was my fear of failure. After that realisation I seemed to find an inner resolve and had no problems at all.
But it has rewarded me with so much and I really feel that I was destined to walk this path,in this way.
It is said that all things happpen in Gods own sweet time and that has been proven in my life and I feel I have been truly blessed.

I was born Muslim , but at a certain point in my life I started to ask my self questions , I said : from our point of view we are the right religion but there is nothing 100% except God so I started the process of making sure , I found that the holy book [ holy Koran ] is preserved since the days of the prophet and the oldest written book is the same as the newest printed book , so I had a firm source that is so pure to look into , and I'm a man of science so I tried to look for something scientific that proves that Mohamed was a prophet and I found many evidences mentioned in the holy Koran that no human being did knew at those times so I believed that he was told by Allah the creator of those facts , so I believed in him as the prophet and this made me believe more in all other prophets and made me believe more in the all the values those people tought us along our dark human history .
now after a walk in that alley I'm convinced that whatever I do must be for sake of Allah , sometimes we do things just for fun or as a duty , but if we intended to do these things from the start for our beloved God he will be with us and give us the peace of mind that we are all seeking , so this is what I try in my life .

Yes, my belief system is something that adds considerable value to my life. I have proven to myself that my belief system is correct, it was my personal choice to follow it and I was not forced into it by others. I TRULY believe it, not with just my heart, but my mind and reasoning as well.

Well, both. Since where I am from, despite the 1995 masscare it only made our family stronger in their deen(religion) were all Muslim. I was born as a Muslim, no I don't wear hijab, pray five times day etc., however I still practice some of it unlike some Muslims who think it's O.K. to drink and what not. For example: I fast, charity, pray(in my heart), I dress modest, I don't flirt, and sex after marriage(hehe). I've never dated(its haraam). When I wear some thing or I do something, I hold consideration and think if this is halal or haraam in our religion.
Sorry if I rambled but hey it's the truth =)
And I get teased a lot but it's worth it you know.. :)

Yes my belief system adds value to my life...I grew up with it, but I truly believed, my parents had a way of teaching us about all the different religions...this made me believe and have faith.

I was baptized Catholic when i was a baby but as i grew up i felt alone like no one understood me. Suddenly i found God again in the Catholic Faith, my parents and brothers say they are catholic but they really don't practice the religion almost at all. right now i'm still in the line between love and hate. Then i learned about the Maronite Catholic people which the majority live in Lebanon and decided to remain Catholic until the my death comes. i'm still am going through change good/bad but i love God no matter what!
Lebanon Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born in a Christian family and I am a practicing (somewhat) Christian.
But although it influenced it a lot, my religion did not exactly set my belief system, I tailor made my beliefs and they are not set in concrete, I still wonder, ask, question and change anything that no longer seems comfortable.
