I could possibly be pregnant, but don't want to take the test. I am scheduled to have knee surgery next week. If I am pregnant is it safe to go ahead and have the surgery. Or should I let the Dr. know that there is a possibility I could be pregnant?

I think you should still be able to have the surgery, in fact it's prolly a good idea since gaining weight with your pregnancy and having knee problems prolly wouldn't bode well for walking. However you have to tell your doctor about the possibility because the medications and anesthesia you are given may be detrimental to not only yours but your baby's health. Better to be safe than sorry.

You really should take a test to find out if you are preg. I wouldn;t have any surgery while im preg but you really should let them know that it's a possibilty that you might be preg!

I don't think you should have a surgey if your pregnant because all of the meds the dr would inject you with might be to strong for your fetus
