This episode will kill them in Lindsay how can the candidate drum up any kind of trust. It also won't help change peoples mind that were on the verge of voting Labor elsewhere either. Frankly it is one big free kick to labor when you see who was doing it.
As for the candidate she is not the type of candidate I would want on either grounds. If she knew she shouldn't be trusted if she didn't know she is, out of touch with whats happening in her own home what hope has she got with the people of Lindsay

No, I dont think the liberal party were harmed by the debacle. However the seat of Lindsay may well be won by labor.

This was a very low act and I do not think it was a practical joke.

I think the candidate was fully aware of the pamphlet and if elected should be sacked.

Well, if anyone was in any doubt about how desperate the Liberals are they'd surely know better now! and it is clear they really do not care what they have to stoop to in order to try to win. I think the timing has been superb ... hope it sinks them.
