at four hundred dollars it's DECENT, but 1.42 GHz is nothin' for processor speed. My three-and-a-half year old laptop is 1.5 GHz. I'd recommend something faster. Also, DON'T get anything with less than 2 GB of RAM
[nice hard drive size for that price, though]

This is a very good deal with dual core chip that will bring the actual speed up to 2.8 GHz. The components installed are replaceable, if you ever want to upgrade to bigger hard drive or CD/DVD drive. The number of laptop per store is limited, be there early if you really want it.

great value, but It is still budget. If you're not a gamer, it should do most of what you want to do.
I like a lot more power into my laptop personally. I'm on an Asus G1S with 4gb of Ram right now.

VAIO is a very good laptop. Although in my opinion an computer with vista on it sucks

Its the best you can get for $399. They will go fast so get there early Friday.
