Has anyone received information resulting someone using your bank card?

Question

One day i found out that my bank account received $800 not from me, but someone else? How is this possible?

When i told the clerk she took the $800 away from me because I was in ottawa the whole time and it shows in her screen that i was somewhere other than ottawa when i possibly made the deposit? How is this possible?

The thing is the next day there was reports of a group of people were making multiple bank cards and were moving money around.

Sounds like it was an error. Probably someone wrote in or keyed in the wrong number.

It wasn't your money, so the bank corrected that error and hopefully put it in the correct account.
