Huckabee raised taxes but he never gave "freebies" to illegals...Arkansas has state income tax and low sales/property tax...when he left office Arkansas had over a $500M surplus and was in much better shape than when he took over and I don't think you'll find many people who'll complain about the job he did
Throughout his tenure as Governor, welfare rolls declined by nearly half and during his last year in office the state's economy grew 4.4%, beating the national average of 4.2%
