The key for the Red Sox IMHO was to sign Mike Lowell. They have done that. They have solid starting pitching and a good bullpen. They are going to be competitive in 2008. That's all you can ask from the World Series champs.

I'm not happy at all with the Phillies. They've made 1 ok move. Of course the Phillies are to cheap to sign good payers. They are going to loose Rowand. Apparently they went after Lowell right before he signed in Boston. The Phillies offered a 5yr 50 mil contract. That's so they can say they tried to do something.

I am Brewers fan. They have signed jason kendall and traded johnny estrada to the mets for Mota. This does not impress me but estrada did not impress me either, so i am willing to give kendall a shot. Mota sucks, but we'll see what he does. Other than that, i would like to see them deal Bill Hall and pick up some pitching.
