dvd flick converts the avi file to dvd format so they will play on a regular dvd player that does not support divx format.

the avi's
are they divx/xvid ?
if so then it's your conversion program that converts from divx/xvid encoded AVIs to the proper dvd vob files

or does it merely copy the avi's directly to the disc and you play the files directly on your dvd player ( assuming it supports divx/xvid )
