It's kind of cute- but it has negative connotations for me as it reminds me of the word 'lament'.
I don't know. I think the name would be good for a storybook character, but not a real child. Then again, perhaps the pronounciation of this name would change my mind...

uh.. not somthing i would name any of my children..
sounds like it originated from the word Lamb.
Doesn't really sound exotic afterall i did live In Poland Czech republic & Russia also visited Germany Serbia & cuba..
Never heard of it.. must be an indian or middle eastern name..
Maybe i'll call my child Cowlita or Monkita.. what do you think?
