Holding hands, giving thanks and each sharing what blessings they are thankful for. Seeing the table all set with finery and wonderful food.

I liked hearing my brothers scream while watching football, or watching them play football in the backyard.
The food is always terrible, too plain and heavy for me.
Growing up I kinda enjoyed this day, but now it just seems useless. A day to pig out and watch the parade on t.v.

We have french fries instead of mashed potatoes for holiday meals. It's a tradition my parents started in 1967 because my dad hates all potatoes except french fries. It works for us! :)
